CITATION FORMAT EXAMPLES for Searching in LEXIS NEXIS

Some classes are being asked to look up legal citations in Lexis Nexis.

I wanted to provide a list of example legal citations for students who are using LexisNexis to search for specific legal references. Unfortunately, the Blog tools do not allow me to directly attach a Word document. If I copy the document that I created, all of the proper spacing becomes completely jumbled.

As an alternative to posting this document to the Reference blog, I will file the example sheet in the gray Rollodex file which is located on top of the reference desk bookshelf. It is entitled, "CITATION FORMAT EXAMPLES for Searching in LEXIS"

Remember that spacing and format are very exact, and you must pattern any legal citation searching just like the example.
